Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Identify real estate-related bills passed by the legislature in 2022.

• Identify the laws and regulations pertaining to misrepresentation in real estate transactions in Hawaii.

• Recall the elements of fraud and intentional misrepresentation in real estate transactions and how to avoid them.

• Recall the elements of negligent misrepresentation in real estate transactions and how to avoid them.

• Identify the requirements contained in the Seller’s Real Property Disclosure Law pertaining to misrepresentation in real estate transactions in Hawaii.

• Recall the circumstances related to implied dual agency.
