This course strives to enable agents to connect what’s happening in Hawaii’s housing market with current economic conditions. Unit I explains the tie between the concept of supply/demand with current statistics often cited regarding Hawaii’s housing market. In this unit, we look at key economic drivers and how they affect demand for housing while discussing the inelastic demand for housing in Hawai`i.
